CommonLit - October 5, 2017

CommonLit is a tool created by teachers, for teachers, intended to provide instructional materials and progress tracking tools for grades 5-12. Even better, it’s completely free! In this TeleTech we will explore some examples of lessons featuring news articles, historical documents, poems and more! We will also discuss how you can assign lessons, track progress, and analyze student performance. Don’t miss out on this exciting tool!

Each TeleTech session is video streamed meaning you can watch it directly on your computer screen, your iPad or Android tablet, your smartphone, or connect it to a projector for the entire staff to watch.  Sessions will have a chat feature where you can ask questions directly to the instructor.  Once you are registered for a topic, the main contact will be emailed a user name and password for that day which can be distributed to all of the staff in a building or across the whole district.
