Our highly qualified instructors travel all over southwestern Ohio and beyond to deliver meaningful and engaging PD to educators and school/district staff.

Levels 1 & 2 :  
SOITA offers intense two-day trainings designed to help educators prepare to take the Google Certified Educator exams. These trainings focus on the content covered on the exams as well as information about the various levels of certification and the exam interface.

Makey Makey Invention Literacy Workshop:
In this fun, hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to teach Invention Literacy, making, and Design Thinking using the award Winning Makey Makey Invention Kit. We'll explore how ot teach circuits and conductivity using Makey Makeys and then put our skills to use designing your own inventions! Participants learn best practices and gain access to a multimedia training website that can be used later when working with your students or training others.

Come learn how you can create your virtual classroom using Google Sites! Learn how to create Google Sites that take advantage of the many resources Google has to offer. Participants are asked to come prepared with an idea for their website as well as any media, images or documents they would like to include. Join us and bring your classroom into the 21st century!

Creating Lessons with SMART Notebook:
Spend the day learning various ways to create engaging lessons using the SMART Notebook Software.  We'll spend time looking at various techniques and ideas you can use in your classroom.  Time will also be spent trying out some of the available resources and tools you may not be using.

Intro to Google Drive:  
Using Google Drive is the most efficient way to not only create and access files from anywhere, but also collaborate and share with others.  Using the apps available in Google Drive, you can create a document, spreadsheet, presentation, drawing, or form.  Learn the basics of using this valuable tool and how it can help you and your students.
