++++ Now An Entire District Can Participate! ++++

Each TeleTech is presented live two times:  2:35pm to 3:25pm and 3:45pm to 4:35pm Eastern time. The cost to participate includes both sessions for only $50 per day per building or district for SOITA member schools; $100 per day per building or district for non-members.  Each session is video streamed meaning you can watch it directly on your computer screen, your iPad or Android tablet, your smartphone, or connect it to a projector for the entire staff to watch.  Many sessions will have a chat feature where you can ask questions directly to the instructor.  Once you are registered for a topic, the main contact will be emailed a user name and password for that day which can be distributed to all of the staff in a building or across the whole district.  To register, please download the Registration Form on the right and fax, email, or mail it to SOITA. Everything in Moderation: Google Moderator for Educators
Google Moderator is a fantastic little known tool that Google makes available to both personal and Google Apps accounts. In a nutshell, moderator allows you to create a “series” with individual “topics”. Within those topics, you can solicit responses from staff, students, or stakeholders. What sets Moderator apart from something like Google Forms, is that those responding to your questions or ideas can add their own submissions in addition to voting these suggestions up or down. It provides a fantastic way to develop a study guide, choose PD sessions for your district, or even check for understanding using the flipped classroom model. Collaborate, Communicate, Create with Google+ Hangouts
Sure there are plenty of options for video chats online. As we look at the usual suspects: Skype, G Chat, and Go To Meeting, none are as powerful or easy to use as Google+ Hangouts. Google+ Hangouts allow users to have up to 15 individuals in the hangout at the same time.
