Distance Learning
SOITA offers several choices for professional development and student learning via distance learning.

TeleTech Tuesdays
provide 50 minutes of training in topics ranging from curriculum integration to software-specific tasks that are of interest to educators. These are a great way to keep current with the ever-changing world of classroom technology!

Resources for Teachers is a new series of video conferences hosted by SOITA.  During each session, the presenter will demonstrate a collection of free resources that teachers can start using right away.  Gather the teachers up and let them see what they may have been missing!

Let's Talk Careers! are each 50 minutes long, will take place on various afternoons and will allow middle school and high school students the opportunity to engage first-hand with an experienced career specialist.

Content for Students are value-added video conferences targeted to specific curriculum topics and grade levels and are each aligned to the Ohio Academic Content Standards.  Sesssions are offered on various dates and each session is offered at four different times during the day.  Each session is 50 minutes in length and students will be able to interact with the SOITA consultant in these rich curriculm areas.  There is a limit to the number of sites in each session; this will allow for maximum student participation.

Our 1-2-1 TeleTechs are distance learning opportunities that allow the district to tailor the topic of a video conference to fit the professional development needs of their own staff.
