Google Sites Class - May 12

Come learn how you can create your virtual classroom using Google Sites! Whether you are looking to improve communication with parents, provide resources for students or post assignments and activities for classes, clubs or calamity days, Google Sites can be tailored to suit your needs. Learn how to create Google Sites that take advantage of the many resources Google has to offer. Participants are asked to come prepared with an idea for their website as well as any media, images or documents they would like to include.

Google Tools for Diverse Learners Workshop

Today’s classrooms serve a wide variety of students, requiring more, and more creative, instructional strategies than ever before.  Google Apps for Education offers schools a powerful system of tools to enhance student learning.  Some students need a little extra support to fully engage with the general curriculum, and there is a growing number of tools that make it possible to further address individual needs while maintaining high standards for all.

This workshop will demonstrate a variety of (mostly free!) tools that can be used to help students with diverse needs achieve success in the general curriculum, using their already-existing GAFE account.


Participants will see useful tools for common classroom barriers, have the opportunity to experiment with the tools that are demonstrated, and plan for implementation in the classroom. 

Getting Started with Google Apps? Come to Our Mini Camp October 28-29

These camps are designed for educators who are relatively new to using Google’s free apps. Emphasis will be on introducing the different apps and allowing participants to become familiar with each app, such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Forms, Sites, and more.

• 8:30AM - 4:00PM 

• Lunch on Your Own 

• Certificate of Attendance for 15 Hours

• Optional Graduate Credit May Be Purchased
