Google Tools for Diverse Learners Workshop

posted Nov 6, 2015, 7:47 AM by Deb Tschirhart

Today’s classrooms serve a wide variety of students, requiring more, and more creative, instructional strategies than ever before.  Google Apps for Education offers schools a powerful system of tools to enhance student learning.  Some students need a little extra support to fully engage with the general curriculum, and there is a growing number of tools that make it possible to further address individual needs while maintaining high standards for all.

This workshop will demonstrate a variety of (mostly free!) tools that can be used to help students with diverse needs achieve success in the general curriculum, using their already-existing GAFE account.

Participants will see useful tools for common classroom barriers, have the opportunity to experiment with the tools that are demonstrated, and plan for implementation in the classroom.
