Come learn how you can create your virtual classroom using Google Sites! Whether you are looking to improve communication with parents, provide resources for students or post assignments and activities for classes, clubs or calamity days, Google Sites can be tailored to suit your needs. Learn how to create Google Sites that take advantage of the many resources Google has to offer. Participants are asked to come prepared with an idea for their website as well as any media, images or documents they would like to include. Join us and bring your classroom into the 21st century!
This workshop will demonstrate a variety of (mostly free!) tools that can be used to help students with diverse needs achieve success in the general curriculum, using their already-existing GAFE account.
Participants will see useful tools for common classroom barriers, have the opportunity to experiment with the tools that are demonstrated, and plan for implementation in the classroom.
