Bring your iPad to this hands-on workshop to explore how it can become a versatile instructional tool.  You will receive the Reflector Software (PC/Mac) which will allow you to wirelessly mirror and project your iPad. Join us as we learn about apps that will help you manage your classroom, assess student work, interact with your class, and create instructional media.  These topics and strategies work well in an one iPad classroom.

Don’t let math spook you! Join us for this fun and festive program featuring Common Core Standards aligned problems and activities. Students will “Trick or Treat” with instructors, telling time, working through word  and geometry problems, and even learning a little bit about Halloween. SOITA, along with the Region 14 State Support Team, Wilmington College, CET, and SWOCA is co-organizing edcamp DubC, an unconference on Saturday, October 4, 2014. The edcamp will be held on the campus of Wilmington College and in the edcamp style, the agenda and discussion will be decided by the attendees. All educators, including administrators, veteran educators, and pre-service teachers are encouraged to attend. 


Registration is free, but to reserve your spot, it is recommended you register for a free ticket prior to the date.
