TeleTech: Classroom Uses for Google Earth & Maps - March 4

posted Feb 21, 2014, 9:08 AM by Caryn Kelley

Let Google Earth and Google Maps transport your class! These powerful tools allow you to travel the globe, go back in time, and even observe astronomical events - right from your own classroom. No matter what grade or subject you teach, there is sure to be some exciting features that will thrill your students! Don’t miss out on this globe-trotting session!

Each TeleTech session is video streamed meaning you can watch it directly on your computer screen, your iPad or Android tablet, your smartphone, or connect it to a projector for the entire staff to watch.  Sessions will have a chat feature where you can ask questions directly to the instructor.  Once you are registered for a topic, the main contact will be emailed a user name and password for that day which can be distributed to all of the staff in a building or across the whole district.
