Ohio looks forward to celebrating Digital Learning Day, a national campaign to spotlight successful instructional practice and effective use of technology across the country. This year, Ohio Ed Techs will hold a FREE virtual conference, streamed via YouTube, full of sessions highlighting great tools and resources for the classroom. A shared Google Doc will be available throughout the event to ask questions.

Join us as we discuss techniques for teaching coding concepts such as cause and effect, logic, and problem solving. Then we’ll dive into the CS First Curriculum to explore activities, lesson plans, and more.

Be Internet Awesome with Google

In today's world, where we live so much of our lives on the Internet, it's critical that we teach students how to stay safe and make smart choices online. Google’s Be Internet Awesome curriculum makes it simple for educators to impart important lessons on how to be Smart, Alert, Kind, Strong, and Brave online. In this session we will provide a brief overview of the Be Internet Awesome curriculum and explore Interland - the online adventure game that makes teaching online safety and digital citizenship fun!
