The Ohio Ed Techs are recruiting teachers to be part of the local PBS Media Literacy Educator Certification Academy!
This is a chance for educators to collaborate with peers to work toward the PBS Media Literacy Educator Certification.

An educator working directly with students
Working in a traditional school setting, museum, after-school or out-of-school program, library, or homeschool
Using media and integrating technology in your current instruction
Experienced at creating media content
Possibly a Tech Coordinator, Library Media Specialist, Digital Innovator, or Technology/Media Arts Coach
Interested in or already using PBS content in your classroom/learning space
COST
$30 per month (3 contact hours per month)
$200 for the entire academy (8 months/24 contact hours)

PARTICIPANTS WILL:
Earn 3 contact hours for each month completed
Receive support from Ohio Ed Tech Education and PBS staff
Collaborate and work through achieving micro-credentials as a cohort
Have the opportunity to purchase a semester hour of graduate credit from Ashland University
